This event was one of the coolest, funkiest bunch of flowers we've put together.
When our clients gave us this magnificent blue and orange tablecloth pattern as inspiration for their fundraising gala, we took the color palette and ran with it! Hearts of Los Angeles aka HOLA, is an organization that provides underprivileged youth with afterschool programs, and the orange-blue motif mirrors that of their logo.
For the blues we used our fav Delphinium, as well as Allium. For the range of oranges, from the redder hues to the lighter peachy notes, we used Roses, Anthurium, Birds of Paradise, Foxtail Lily, Tulip, Fritillaria, Orchid, Icelandic Poppy, Pincushion Protea, and Star of Jerusalem. To bring a little dimension, we then low-lighted with the deep violets of Calla Lily and Ranunculus, Queen Anne's Lace, and Scabiosa.
This was also a fun challenge in that we made 40 of these arrangements - each different and beautiful in its own way.
