Bring On The Spring Break Vibes!
City Year, an AmeriCorps group here in LA, through a fundraiser themes Spring Break, and we got to help create the vibes with some fun tropical floral arrangements.
The wild arrangements included anthurium, bird of paradise, orchids, roses, pincushion protea, foxtail lily, kangaroo paw, ranunculus, weeping amaranthus, grevillea, and tropical foliage.

WildFlora Turns 10 Years Old!
10 Years. Holy cow. This small business, started by sister-brother duo Alexandra and Mike Scholtz, started as a joint floral and landscape design venture, complete with a couch in the back office where the two could stay in order to extend their hours and grind to get the business off the ground. 10 years later, there are now two flourishing businesses, the shop has doubled in size, and the Mike and Al no longer need to use the back office for a little shut eye. Funky Fresh Event Flowers
This event was one of the coolest, funkiest bunch of flowers we've put together. When our clients gave us this magnificent blue and orange tablecloth pattern as inspiration for their fundraising gala, we took the color palette and ran with it! Hearts of Los Angeles aka HOLA, is an organization that provides underprivileged youth with afterschool programs, and the orange-blue motif mirrors that of their logo. YouTube Theater Open House Event Florals
This year we were invited to create florals for the YouTube Theater Open House, and what a fun floral challenge it was! The night gave event planners and production companies a chance to explore the space in their very first open house. Our clients gave us the direction of matching the YouTube red and black logo, and from there we created an assortment of arrangements to fit the vibes. We used rich reds (obvi), and then looked to dark, deep purples to capture the black of the logo.
