The Beauty of Designing Seasonally

The Beauty of Designing Seasonally

If you've ordered flowers from WildFlora online, then you've seen our little blurb about seasonality - since flower availability changes from month-to-month ( ...or week-to-week or even year-to-year), it means your arrangements will vary a little bit from the image on our website.

However, our designers are pros at finding the perfect blooms to still achieve the vibes needed.

Case in point: this week, we had an order for our Emerald Canopy Arrangement. The original version of this was photographed in March a couple years ago, and we were able to get some BEAUTIFUL, large, orange Fritillaria stalks. They helped to bring the fairy magic vibes to this design, and we loved the dramatic height and structure they provided.

A large flower arrangement in a glass vase in front of a white backdrop on a marble table. It's filled with orange, white, purple, but mostly green and and chartreuse-colored flowers and foliage, including fritillaria, star of bethlehem, orange slices, alium, pitcher plant, anemone, fern, philodendron, polka dot begonia, rose, clematis, bells of ireland, heuchera, and amaranthus. The vibes are very Hobbiton.

Fast forward to yesterday - we were able to source some of the same blooms that were used in the original arrangement (Allium, Star of Jerusalem, Amaranthus, Cymbidium Orchid, and the tiny purple-checkered Fritillaria), but we needed to make a little switch-a-roni for the flowers we couldn't get, like the featured orange Fritillaria.

Therefore, we headed to the Downtown Flower Market, and we when we saw the stunning, dramatic, orange Bearded Iris, we knew that that would be our featured girly.

Then, to bring in s'more of the enchanted forest feels, we added the foxglove and pitcher plant - VERY Fern Gully. So yeah, your arrangement might not be exactly like the picture, but we guarantee it will still be wonderful - stay seasonal, stay wild!
