Last week the reservation app, Resy, chose WildFlora to create 4 unique arrangements to celebrate four restaurants in Los Angeles with the coveted Michelin Star. We loved the creative opportunity to incorporate each restaurant's vibe into the designs.
Gucci Osteria
For this contemporary Italian restaurant, we incorporated the lush palms and foliage from the restaurant's ambiance, while pulling in pink tones from their branding. Additionally, we added accents of garlic and radicchio, also known as Italian chicory, to nod to some of the more traditional flavors of Italy. Other flowers in the arrangement included dahlia, blushing bride protea, snapdragon, delphinium, calla lily, African lily, butterfly ranunculus, amaranthus, and bromeliad.
We translated the cool, clean, bright vibes of this French bistro into florals of white, pale blue, and cool purple, in a white compote container. To keep it clean and classic, we used garden roses, spray rose, tulips, delphinium, clematis vine, allium, blushing bride protea, dahlia, tweedia, ranunculus, and calla lily.
At this long-standing bistro, the food provides colorful punches of color, and we wanted to bring that out in the flowers. To do so, we incorporated multiple shades of orchid, anthurium, celosia, lisianthus, and tropical foliage, as well as some Thai staples: mint, Thai chili, and Thai bananas, also known as Kluai Nam Wa.
This small but mighty Mexican seafood restaurant, pronounced "hole-bosh," is named after the Mayan-named island of Holbox off the coast of Mexico. You'll find it nestled in Historic South Central L.A.'s Mercado La Paloma, and we were inspired by the food's warm colors with accents of bright green. To create the vibe, we used Dahlia, marigold, African lilies, celosia, snapdragon, bromeliad, lisianthus, and amaranthus, with accents of avocado and lime.
